I'm an Interaction Designer specializing in civic and non-profit design. I collaborate with clients to evaluate their workflows, road-map services, conduct workshops, and design digital experiences that are intuitive and
un-burdensome to their customers.
What am I doing now?
As an Interaction Designer at FJORD, I design a variety of complex web and digital experiences. Working closely with product owners and other designers, I deliver interface design solutions to complex challenges, create highly detailed wire-frames and user-flows, perform extensive user research, and create interactive prototypes.
Why am I always excited to go to work?
Government services are known to be the most criticized, misunderstood, and cumbersome experiences out there. Hidden attributes such as staffing, budgeting, and workflow setup that are unique to the government space add to this perception for better or worse.

Re-installing trust through my work can lead to a better chance that people get the help and services they need. It is not the kind of work that is featured on the cover of a magazine, but it is work done right, it can positively affect the lives of millions of people.
